The story begins on the day of their mother's birthday and her new office job.

Three sisters: Lilith, Pan, and Emerald, plus their younger brother Jacob, become notably suspicious by their mother's disinclination to divulge any tangible information about the company or her role. Little did they know it would be a cover for the fact that she works in a magical realm accessed by one of many portals across earth.

It is not only their mother's deceptiveness they have to worry about: a cursed wizard, who had attempted to take over Saebros 17 years ago and was responsible for a world war, is trying to undo his curse and reclaim his power - a curse which their mother is solely responsible for.​

In their attempt to confront their mother about keeping magic a secret from them, the siblings find themselves separated from one another on multiple occasions, in uncharted territory, completely vulnerable without prior knowledge of magic, and scramble to figure out if they have powers of their own in a bid to save themselves from being killed, or worse: used as leverage.
