ABOUT THE SERIES
The ISLE OF FAWE series focuses on the premise of red string theory - where people are destined to meet, and that the universe will bring these individuals together with perfect timing regardless of time, place or circumstance. It doesn't necessarily equate to lifelong partners; sometimes, it is simply to teach profound life lessons before parting ways.
The concept of destined partners has, for a long time, been a strong belief of mine. I grew up with the notion of soul mates. In my mid-late 20s I also learned about twin flames and karmic relationships. My spiritual journey over the years has led me to become more accepting of these lessons, as I used to fight against them, not understanding the purpose behind them. Themes of my own experiences, as well as the hardships of others, has made this series far more than just a simple fantasy - it has become a story of personal healing that explores the nitty-gritty of heartbreak, resilience and struggling to maintain hope when exposed to the dark underbelly of humanity.

Throughout the series, Freya, James, Kol and Morgana face many personal hurdles. As such, they come to learn more about who they are as people - and what they're running away from - by facing their worst fears: past, present and future. However, their journey to understanding the full scope of their powers comes profound knowledge of where they truly come from and why they're so important in the fight against Trinity.

Morgana, reeling from a complex breakup, experiences premonition dreams and incomprehensible chemistry with a date; James meets an infamous veteran wizard who tasks him with apprehending a warlock, but discovers he’s in possession of a peculiar obsidian orb and is forced to keep secrets that damage James’ relationships; Kol, battling a grim inner voice, realises the emotional numbness he’s accustomed to has disappeared for the first time in decades; and Freya, settling into her hometown after escaping abuse, receives signs from the other side and becomes victim of a hit‑and‑run.

While each contend with events both personal and supernatural, an elusive threat named Trinity lurks in the shadows of the UK’s magical community. Though neither side truly know one another, they are on an inevitable path toward convergence.

With the aid of a veteran wizard and familiars, the four learn the nature of their Elemental powers and how to control them; but if Trinity or the shadow demons—now hunting them thanks to Morgana’s ex and his cultist family—discover their identities, the four may be killed before ever uniting.
